The receptionists will help you with nurse appointments, repeat prescriptions etc. They aim to please everybody. Please try to give them as much information as possible when making an appointment, requesting home visits, or wishing to speak to the doctor. All information will be treated in confidence.

The secretaries are responsible for the preparation of referral letters to hospitals and other outside agencies.

Practice Nurses
Our practice nurses are qualified to hold their own clinics and can advise on a variety of health problems. They run clinics designed to prevent illness. New patients will be invited to see the nurse to update medical details and offer general health advice. The introduction helps the doctor and nurse to know more about your medical history until they are provided with your medical file from your previous doctor.

Health Visitor
Our health visitor monitor infant development, assessments, care of the under fives and their families.

Community Midwife
The community midwife provides for ladies in the antenatal and postnatal periods of their maternity care.

Community Nurse
The community nurse visits people who need any nursing care in their own home and the doctor or hospital will make the arrangement for this.
